Marketing Strategy's

Merchandise


Description of Strategy: Posters of the boy band being sold at all shopping centers, they also would come free with every toy figures of the bot band. They would be toy figures of each band member they would also have there individual look. T-Shirts with "Right Choice" coloured pink and yellow, these will be sold on the website. Also sell party equipment which includes party cakes, plates. Also sell bed sheets, rugs and curtains which has the boy band on it with the logo "Right Choice."
How it fits with your label's financial model: The record label is major which means they have a big spending budget to market the band.

How it will reach your target audience: Girls would love to have a "Right Choice"  themed birthday party it will also bring awareness to the band through girls attending the party.
                                                                                                                      
Synergy


Description of Strategy: Dedicating a song to comic releith, this gains awareness of the band and creates a good image. Promoting a clothes brand; superdry.
How it fits with your label's financial model: Due to our financial model of the label, the company would have connection with other connections.
How it will reach your target audience: This will appeal to girls give the band a good image, promoting a clothes brand would also would appeal to boys because they would want to look like them.


Broadcast


Description of Strategy: Tv series 'Right Choice on Tour' which films the band on the road to studios and concerts, this will be shown on itv 2. Tv appearance on blue peter where the band will perform and also get interviewed by the presenters. Appearance on 'T4 on the beach'
How it fits with your label's financial model: The record label being major, would enable them to contact major channels and concerts.
How it will reach your target audience: Blue peter and T4 on the beach are watch by young people, showing the band on these programmes and concerts will bring awareness.


Print


Description of Strategy: A feature print on how the band was created, and a individual bio of each band member which will contain there likes and dislikes etc.
How it fits with your label's financial model: Being a major record label they must have distributors and other printed media underneath them, or the record label might be vertically integrated, this would make the print very easy to produce.
How it will reach your target audience: The feature print will be shown on a major children's magazine, which means our target audience which consist of young/teenage girls.


New Media Technology  


Description of Strategy: Facebook page so the audience can interact with the band and other fans of the band and also write comments, it also enables the band to raise awareness of the their new music videos. Their will also be a website where fans can buy merchandise and hear about the latest gigs and concerts, there will also be a games on the website where you can "Dress the Band."
They will also be daily vlogs of the band doing random skits, this will be uploaded on YouTube.
How it fits with your label's financial model: Daily vlogs are cheap but they are time consuming.
How it will reach your target audience: Facebook is becoming increasingly huge, having a page for them is important for the fans to connect with them.
